Vision
To see, to hear, to touch
Such are great things
But what has been accomplished
By listening?
Or what has been changed
By seeing?
So are the finite, the tangible
They are only profitable
When put to use
By these, men accomplish great things
Yet only through a vision,
An excited adrenaline
Pumping through
The very soul of man
Who can prove it?
Who can touch it?
And yet, by what
Did Napoleon rise to power
Through what
has Mother Theresa reached out
Naught but a dream, a thought
Taking hold
Entwining the very root of man
Until opposition falls
Shattering on the ground
Of human indifference and unbelief
Such is the life of faith
For none can prove the mind of man,
But by such thoughts that flicker there
The world has been turned
How much more shall
The thoughts in man of God
Though infinite and intangible
Work great and marvelous things
In the lives of His children
In the plan of His creation
Through His Power
For His Glory
